Good news. Abodo has achieved CodeMark certification for its range of naturally durable weatherboard cladding products.
Natural wood has long been the discerning choice for exterior cladding finishes, but preservative chemicals have normally been required to bring locally grown cladding up to New Zealand Building Code compliance.
Not any more. Vulcan and Tundra are both beautiful, locally grown, renewable weatherboard cladding options:
Vulcan Cladding
Created from thermally modified, vertical grain Radiata Pine. Vulcan Cladding is the top shelf in beautiful, stable, chemical free cladding.
Tundra Cladding
Created from naturally durable Heart Douglas Fir. Tundra Cladding is stable and naturally durable, with a classic rustic appearance. Push greenwash aside and make a proper “eco” choice.
If these breakthroughs aren’t enough to get you excited, Abodo also have CodeMark for “Hector”: a concealed fix profile.
Hector profile cladding allows you to fix your cladding in vertical or horizontal without visible fixings. Banish those nasty nail heads from the outside of your house.
Delivering the high level of quality expected from Vulcan timber, this extension to the Vulcan Cladding range will bring even more flexibility to your residential projects.
Abodo was proud to be part of the first New Zealand Pavilion at Design Show Australia, with visitors to our stand going in the draw for a Cardrona Cabin Stay.

Many wish to reduce their environmental impact when building, and Abodo’s newest addition to the Vulcan Cladding range helps achieve this
